Antagonist supersets!


ANTAGONIST super sets!! Bench presses supersetted with barbell rows are fantastic. When a muscle contracts, it's antagonist relaxes, through a process of reciprocal inhibition. This forced inhibition followed by a contraction and then repeated for sets creates a "new" type of muscle stimulation and leads to new adaption. These can be done for any opposing muscle groups.
